The type of personal information we collect

We currently collect and process the following information:

    • Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics (for example, name and contact details) as follows.
    • Your email address – we will use to send you information about your order, such as order confirmation, receipts, allergen updates and other important customer information. We will also send you details of menu changes and updates as well as special offers and vouchers. You can opt out of any marketing communication at anytime.
    • Your address – we will only use this for delivery of your order. If you set up an account we keep a copy to serve as your “home” address and any other address you provide as alt. delivery addresses. Ensure you have the permission of the property owner to register the address within your account.
    • Your phone number – we will use this to contact you regarding your order or account.
    • Your likeness – don’t worry we’re not cloning you; we do use security cameras which may record you if you enter one of our stores, interact with one of our drivers or communicate via video call. We may also, without notice record video or take photographs within our store for the purposes of promotion.
    • Your bank or credit/debit card details – this is used purely for the purposes of payment. We do not store your card details on site, within our electronic till systems or via our website. Your card is used to process payment by our payment gateway providers who use state of the art banking encryption and security.
    • Your personal ID – if you are fortunate to have a youthful appearance and ask to be served alcohol our team are trained to ask to see appropriate ID to confirm your age. This will not be photographed or stored on our system and is used for age verification at point of sale or on delivery only.
    • Website usage stats – we use Google Analytics, which anonymises the data so we cannot personally identify you from our stats. We also use our own cookies to track user behaviour on our websites. Our cookies will identify your browser and set a ‘home’ location. We use this to ensure you find your closest store when you revisit our website. You can purge the cookie when you leave our website, however you will be asked for your delivery/home postcode again.

How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

    • Order placement with our stores
    • Employment by our stores
    • Supplying our stores

We also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:

    • Background checks for employees
    • Supply chain checks for suppliers
    • Credit referencing

We use the information that you have given us as follows:

    • Process your delicious order and deliver it
    • Manage you & your role within our organisation
    • Credit referencing for corporate accounts
    • Comply with security or law enforcement

We may share this information with

    • Payment gateway or banking providers when processing orders
    • Legal requests to view our security footage.
    • Statutory compliance requests by governmental agencies

How we store your personal information

Your information is securely stored on our systems as follows.

    • We use a professionally manager commercial till system which process transactional data, manage inventory and handle all customer order data.
    • We use a professional and licensed Google Workspace for our admin tasks, employee communications and data storage.
    • We run our website on UK based servers managed by a UK based development team and your personal data is protected by end-to-end encryption when interacting with our website.
    • We keep customer information for 12 months from date of last order, you can delete your website account at any time. We will then dispose of your personally identifiable data by purging the database at least every 30 days. We will also ensure our till system removes any personally identifiable information within this process.
    • We keep employee information in line with the legal requirements under UK employment law. This information will be held securely on our cloud systems provided by Google.
    • All supplier information is held on our EPOS till system and is used for order placement. The information is updated when advised by our suppliers and removed on request.
    • All payment and banking data is stored in line with current UK law and is kept securely in our PCI complaint systems.

Your data protection rights

Under data protection law, you have rights including:
Your right of access – You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.

Your right to rectification – You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

Your right to erasure – You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to restriction of processing – You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to object to processing – You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to data portability – You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
